I would recommend City View to anyone who asked. I've had a lot of opportunities to work on the things I truly enjoy or that connect to my future career interests in ways I don't think I could get at other schools. There's also a strong sense of community here. I enjoy talking with my peers and teachers, and it's a place where I'm genuinely excited to come to school in the morning because I know I'll learn something interesting and have fun.

Kirkwood Architecture, Construction, and Engineering Pathway & Engineering Internship

The teachers and mentors here really push me to think deeper and try new things. I’ve been able to explore a lot of my interests, especially in engineering and robotics, and work on real projects that actually mean something. Through robotics, internships, and different experiences the school connects us with, I’ve learned how to solve problems, work as part of a team, and take on new roles and try new things.

Marketing/Podcast & Political Campaign Internship

City View isn't about fitting into one box. It's about building a path that fits you. My classes and projects are designed around my goals and interests, so the curriculum feels like it was created for me, not just handed to everyone the same way.

Choir & Theater @ Kennedy High School

Warm Glass Art Project & Library Internship

I like getting to do things on my own and learning through hands-on experiences. The teachers at City View are very supportive and help us not just with school, but also with advice for life and planning for the future. Another great part of City View is that I can still participate in activities at my resident school.

Cybersecurity Project & IT Internship

City View has been a great place for me to explore my interests and earn credits in a very individual way. The flexibility of the program has allowed me to shape projects around what I want to learn and the direction I want to go.
